Coming up on Saturday, March 23rd, NCSSM will be hosting our 4th annual NCSSM food drive! This is the food drive that broke the world record 2 years ago, and, though we have scaled down some, we still work hard to collect plenty of food to benefit the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC and the 560,000 people at risk of hunger in the 34 counties that the FBCENC serves.
On March 23rd, we will be collecting food from 10am-2pm on campus, and there will be several food trucks on campus who will be donating a percentage of their profits to the food bank. In addition to the events on the 23rd, there is a hall competition (beginning immediately and running through March 31st at 11:59pm) to see who can donate the most food, and the winning hall will receive a 32 inch flat screen TV! To participate, just visit the 3rd Bryan donation page at http://bit.ly/NCSSMFD133BR and make a donation. All donations made to this page will count towards the 3rd Bryan contest total, but more importantly, will help the food bank. Did you know that the Food Bank can turn $1 into 5 meals? Evan a small donation can make a huge difference in the life of someone who is not sure where their next meal is coming from.
